Unreal Engine Shader Development Training

A deeper insight into the development of shaders and materials in the Unreal Engine 4

Shaders make up the looks of every 3D realtime application. Through interesting surfaces and effects it is possible to generate high value environments and visually appealing products. In this course you will gain deeper insights into the usage of the material tool of Unreal Engine 4, so that you are able to create shaders and effects yourself, which go beyond the basics. No matter if it’s water surfaces, realistic glass or futuristic neon effects, it will be much easier for you to generate the desired look. The course is guided by a practical example project, which show-cases the possibilities for complex shader effects with Unreal Engine 4. Teaching templates and material contained in the course will be made available for the participants after conclusion. All included materials can then be used freely for private or commercial projects, to enable further exploration of the learned topics.
