Introduction to the Visual Scripting Systems of the Unreal Engine 4

In this 3 day course you will learn Unreal Engine 4 with a focus on interaction, providing you with the basics needed for filling a scene with live and implementing needed functionality. Experience the fantastic possibilities and the efficient workflow, which is provided by the engine internal visual scripting system. This node based system allows a visual approach, which is a much easier introduction for artists than development in C++. After a general introduction into the game engine, you will be lead through an example project to discover step-by-step all Blueprint systems. You will learn how to create a steerable character, create animation, fire events, change materials and objects at runtime and create user interfaces. After that, you will learn about the build process, to publish your 3d application as a fully qualified standalone application.
